"Human communication, 'as the saying goes, is a clash of symbols' it covers a multitude of signs. But it is more than media and messages, information and persuasion; it also meets a deeper need and serves a higher purpose. Whether clear or garbled, tumultous or silent, deliberate or fatally inadvertent, communication is the ground of meeting and the foundation of community. It is, in short, the essential human connection."

Wasn’t sure which picture you’re referencing. Was it the cartoon? You’ll note I can’t take credit for photos I pull up from Zemanta. Thank goodness for them since I’m not a prolific picture-taker. If it weren’t for them, my posts would be plain, or I’d be running the same photos over and over again from my paltry collection.

I did see the photos you took when I visited your blog a little while ago. That’s what prompted me to go looking for the ones I’d taken. So a belated thanks to you for getting me off my butt!
You’re welcome – that’s what I love about reading other blogs is the great ideas and things to think about!
You’ve witnessed first-hand my evolution as a blogger, since you’ve helped me more than once behind the scenes. Connecting with folks like you…is what makes social media worthwhile for me.

Beautiful!
Wish I could take credit. I’ll have to defer to the master himself…Dale Chihuly.
I just found the Chihuly website. Spectacular!
Wish you could visit the museum. Something from…out of this world!
