Does race or social status affect customer service? Or is it just a matter of attitude adjustment? There are bad sales people and there are great sales people. Perhaps it’s just a reflection of the values they subscribe to. Whatever the case may be, salespersons shouldn’t “judge a book by its cover.” They might miss out on one heck of a sale. Remember in “Pretty Woman” when Julia Roberts told the sales staff in a Rodeo Drive boutique, “I was the one you wouldn’t help. Big mistake! Huge mistake! Huge!”…hugmamma
