Good for you! I like asymmetry in decorating, not so sure when it comes to relationships. But I do my best to maintain a balance between what can be changed…and what can’t be. Sacrificing myself to others’ opinions of me is too high a price to pay any more. I’ve moved on…

Misha is a stunner. Everyone who sees him can’t help but make a fuss. He, however, likes for us to do it from a safe distance. It’s as if he says, as my daughter often mimics, “Bubble. Bubble.” I like to smoosh him, as does she. Misha only puts up with so much smooshing…reluctantly. Petting, yes. Smooshing, no. Definitely no!
