Our beloved Sunkist joined her sibling Fudgie in heaven a week ago.
Seventeen-year-old Sun never let a day go by…
without doing exactly as she pleased.
And I’m certain…she still is…

She was a fighter to the end. Because of kidney failure, Sun was downing several pills a day, having intravenous fluids 2-3 times a week, sampling a variety of wet and dry foods to put on ounces. Her dramatic weight loss and deteriorating quality of life convinced us she’d had enough.
…our kitty was a grand-dame…and a sweetie…
