earth song…

Another blogger, kavi, at http://www.wingrish.wordpress.com …reminded me of the devastation the earth has suffered at the hands of humankind. We then both remembered Michael Jackson’s Earth Song, a powerful statement asking the question, on behalf of all species disenfranchised by man’s destruction of our environment…“What about us???” 

A  moving plea which deserves an answer…one that will most likely…never come…or come…too late.   

…kicking the can…down the road…

    • Very grateful for your nomination. Means a lot. Have not gotten back earlier…have been pondering accepting based upon your kind words.

      I’ve been entrenched in voicing my opinions about the current election elsewhere on the Internet. But have felt compelled to bring the conversation home to…hugmamma’s mind, body, and soul. Not so much to force my political choice, but to voice certain issues which I find somewhat immoral…or downright immoral.

      Hope you understand my decision to humbly decline, since I’ve chosen not to limit myself to only telling autobiographical stories. 🙂

  2. I wish we could turn back the hands of time and preserve some of the beautiful places and animals that have been destroyed because of greed. We should not be, as you said, “kicking the can down the road.” I’ve never seen this video before. Very powerful, hugmamma. Thank you for sharing.
