Had to share these spectacular photos of my birthplace…Maui. It’s been a few years since I’ve visited, so seeing these were like a jog back in time. hugs to blogger friend…travel.garden.eat.
Perhaps I have Maui on my mind given my post earlier this week, but when I saw this week’s photo challenge theme (“Green”), the bamboo forest along the Pipiwai Trail in Haleakala National Park immediately came to mind. The Pipiwai Trail had plenty of other “green” images to fill out the rest of the gallery.
If only I could post the haunting sounds the bamboo made as they moved in the breeze, like hundreds of melodic wind chimes in a zen garden, then my post would be complete!

Haven’t been able to blog recently what with Thanksgiving and before that, a 3-day antique fair in which I took part.
