To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour
-SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL –
I would like to credit the assembling of this post to another blogger from whom I borrowed SWC’s words. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to relocate the blog from whence it came. If you recognize this quote, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. Without it, I would not have thought to post this homage to my UNIQUE AND BELOVED…DAUGHTER.
Loved seeing her in all the different poses and styles! It’s too bad you didn’t date them – how many years did they cover? And the Churchill quote was great.
It’s been forever! Hope you’ve been well. Last I visited…a while ago now…seems you were doing great with your blog. So glad. You’re a great writer and photographer…and technological decipherer. Your daughter got married, right? Still living in the south? Take care, and thanks for visiting and leaving such a warm comment. As far as the number of years the pictures covered…the majority were from my daughter’s years of serious training…so about 17 years. Long time…and she’s still dancing. hugs…tons of hugs, Nancy.
Such grace, Hugmamma, she’s indeed unique. A beautiful and warm homage.
Hugs, Dutchess…always great to hear your sweet voice…and kind words. Hope all’s well. How’s your family? Grown, I’m sure. Bless you all…
Gorgeous! Congrats to you.
hugs for the generous comment, lisa. The same is likewise true of your precious family…as your photos reveal.
Hugmamma, What beautiful photos! I’m so glad your daughter finally found the position she had prepared for and is happy in her new job. What a great post! 🙂 —Susan
