This is by no means an x-rated post, more like pg13 as stated in its title. Before signing off, I checked out one more blog which I’d not visited in some time…tinkertoot. Well, after reading her latest post I was grinning from ear to ear, and I left a comment saying so. I also indicated I’d reprint it here, with credit back to her.

Always wear clean, new underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle… From the NORTHWEST FLORIDA Daily News comes this story of a Crestview couple who drove their car to WalMart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot. The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place. On regaining her feet, she looked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by. The mechanic, however, had to have three stitches on his forehead.

Wasn’t that a great story? Not sure if it’s true or not…but it’s good for a few chuckles. And we certainly need a few of those these days.

Speaking of underwear. Isn’t there a mother’s directive from days gone by that we should be certain to wear clean undies with no holes in them, in case a hijacker or robber asks us to strip down so he can make a getaway without the victims giving immediate chase?

i can never get that piece of trivia out of my mind…it’s stuck in there somewhere, and this story from tinkertoot reminded me of its existence………hugmamma.
